The story grew out of my desire to explore the narrative behind some illustrations I made for the 2009 male sex workers art show curated by Kirk Read, Formerly Known As. I later added color to the drawings—see them below—and installed them as part of the 2012 San Francisco queer art festival, Best Revenge.
